Advancing Clean Technologies

The Farm Loan Board is supporting the Advancing Clean Technologies for Nova Scotia program delivered by the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture. This program supports the adoption of clean technologies for Nova Scotia farms and agribusinesses to mitigate the effects of climate change. We will provide lending options that complement these projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, promote sustainable and clean growth, and increase value-added agricultural production.

Financing

Successful loan applicants will be eligible for a 0.50% interest-rate reduction on the entirety of the loan for eligible projects.*

Eligibility

Applicant must be eligible and approved for funding under the Advancing Clean Technologies for Nova Scotia program.
Funding received from the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture is to be assigned to the Farm Loan Board.
Must be eligible for FLB financing and satisfying all other lending criteria.

Farm Heating, Cooling and Energy Systems
Alternative / Efficient Energy Installations
Byproduct Waste Reduction or Adding Value to Byproducts
